Great advice. Thanks.
These CRB drums are a pain in the butt. They are delivered cracked sometimes, hard to clean and can't get sizes you want.
Pearl is difficult to deal with or contact anyone....

Always inspect your CRB drums when you receive them. I just noticed cracks around the floor tom leg mounting points. The drums are only 9 month old and have never been moved since i received them....
You're absolutely correct.
But to the drum companies I say:
The little guys working gigs around town are just as important as the artists.

True rack tom. I got the shell from the chinese acrylic supplier on eBay. Had the single 45 bearing edge re-cut to dual 45 bearing edges. Had the shell drilled out by Jeff at Crockett Tubbs Drums in...
Yeah. He down-sized :0(.
Thanks! Your kit is great, too.
I posted it. Thanks.

Thanks! The pang is great for playing Tom Sawyer.
Beautiful!!
I have the cowbells, wind chimes and glockenspiel. I've ordered a rack system because the all stands are taking up all the room.
The Pearl rack is ugly. Wish it had chrome rails instead of ugly...
Thanks.
Hey Jdtdrums
How do you like the copper free floater?
I'm thinking about getting the phosphor bronze free floater
Yep. You would think that if pearl offered a 14x10 concert tom that they would also offer a 14x10 rack tom (double-headed).
Obviously, this set is not practical and over the top for most people....
Those are from a NAMM show.
On this very website- click on concert toms and it says they will be available at the end of this year.
The pic is taken on an iPhone. I am 6'2" with long arms, but the picture is deceiving. I sit straight and the toms are closer than they appear. Damn iPhone lol
Thats the same type setup i have used since 1981.
That kit is always set up in my living room just like that for a rush cover band.496286
What a beautiful Kit.
Where do you get the "mirrored" drum head.
I can't find them anywhere.

I saw Eric Singer's acrylic kit and he had a 6x7 in front and 14 and 15 rack toms on the side.
I would like to get 6x7, 14x10 and 15x12 rack toms.
I have the 8,10,12,13,16, 18 and (2) 24 BD's.
Yep. My floor tom legs need to be a couple inches longer, too. Also HEY PEARL. Make some 14 and 15 in rack toms, too!
Well if pearl is listening. They already make a 14 floor tom. Wouldn't be difficult to produce a 14 rack tom.
Thank you. Great advice
