Another Yamaha groove wedge, 1 was just not enough :) Now have one on my Natal Bronze and one on my Natal Walnut. The price was way too good to pass up.
I had to sell my vacuum....it was just collecting dust :D
No, he's always preferred signing the ltd ed books for the backstage club, usually 500-1000 copies of his books on release. I have a copy of Far and Wide with the signed bookplate, and slipcase with...
Don't do it!
You own a beauty of a kit, and no doubt will regret it in years to come :)
Get a collapsable K&M music stand, cheaper, more versatile, and easy to get the positioning you need.
Thats a beauty Kevin, the guys at DO are legends. I often pop in for a coffee and a chat with Jake and the guys in Leeds when i'm driving up the A1. Excellent shop.
I use the 13" versions i've had for over a decade, my go to set. Love 'em.
This is a DRUM FORUM, we are not interested, and no doubt this thread will be closed as soon as one of the mods see it.
I go between a few currently:
Zildjian 18" K Custom Session ride (Darker and really defined)
Zildjian 18" 70's A Ping ride (great ping and bell, with a nice wash)
Zildjian 18" 70's Cie Stamp...
Well the SSC have already been replaced by the Session Studio Selects not too long ago so I don't see that happening.
I don't think he's doing the clinics anymore, or from what he was saying on a kit tour video with Graham Russell Drums last week, there's none for the foreseeable, because he's been so busy on the...
What hoops have you put on there, looks like premier style in the photos?
The BDC kit is exactly the same sizes as his previous Sonor and Premier kits have been for years, all square other than the 6" tom which is 8" deep.
Ooh I look forward to it
Thanks guys, couldn't have put it better myself. What a gig it was too.
Nice work D4L, which one? The Archer, Maverick, Aviator, Bluebird or Maverick?
I like them, the 'Palladium' design is a nice throwback to the kits of the 40's/50's, they look really sleek and complimentary IMO. But then again I like DW's lugs, where some despise them. :)
So my Steve Gadd birch snare got this treatment last night, certainly a keeper, and my go to studio drum.

Yep I see this being a long standing partnership now, especially after the success of the Boomer practice pad, i'd say expect a signature snare (likely a replica of the old Premier Nicko Sicko model)...
I think he's just a massive fan of Keith Keoughs drums, when KK left Premier, Nicko moved on to Sonor, and when BDC launched, and later the Percussion side of the business KEO, who do a Nicko McBrain...
BIG NEWS: Nicko McBrain has moved from Sonor drums to British Drum Co. as announced at a BDC launch event this evening.

Awesome setup, but get that 14" tom as a left side floor tom. :)
I am indeed, he put on one hell of a show for sure. Going to see Gadd again next week :) he's definitely in the top few for me aswell, and i'm catching the Blischer, Hemmer, Gadd trio show in...
