If all your'e wanting to do is move the beater on the right (main) pedal closer to the head, you don't need to futz with the hex screws. There's a standard tension screw that locks in the spring...

Yeah - I'm planning on redo'ing my rack with a few of the new Pearl bits, but Pearl doesn't really have many options in terms of the round pipes.... (like almost no options) - so planning on getting...

What brand of pipe cutter/ model did you use?

I've said it elsewhere - I actually think the unfinished hoops give the kit (at least on mine) a certain elegance....personal preference I guess...honestly to disregard a kit that is sonically beyond...
