I’ll definitely try to get more soon, they’re currently cased up in the house/studio where my band practices. I haven’t gotten to really spend a lot of time behind a Collector’s lately to give a fair...

Bump
Haven’t seen anything about Black Friday deals yet and definitely have the urge to buy something I don’t need, haha. I scored a Pork Pie 13x7 steel snare for $100 from MF a couple years ago and that...
Travis still uses OCDP, not sure who’s building them at this point, though. I almost bought a 14x6.5 20-ply snare with the big port holes a couple months ago but it ended up getting sold before I...
Have you ever heard of google before? This was the top hit when I searched for “18” Z Custom China”.
Someone better rep me for this.
...
Love the matching depth rack toms but I’d go with 8”, big fan of non-square floor toms, but I’d go with a 22x16 kick personally. Deep kicks look weird to me and don’t sound as good to me, personally....
Thanks everyone! Gonna get back to gigging again soon, so I’ll definitely be posting more pics, might have a couple additions in the future, such as an extra rack tom, if I can find one, but Black...
Thanks for the kind words and the rep so far! Here’s a quit frontal picture I got, the logo is a decal I got on Etsy, it’s actually chrome, which I think is a really cool touch.
The tone is there but you’ll sacrifice on volume. I love them but they just can’t get as loud as the big 3 cymbals, I’d say there like 85% there if that makes sense. Me and my friends got turned onto...
Hey everyone! Been a while since I posted, so I’d figure I’d show off the current state of my kit. My main band broke up at the beginning of February, so I haven’t been playing nearly as much, but...
Nobody asked you! :)
I can speak for this one, my best friend had the same cymbal and it sounded incredible. Definitely badass for the price
OP, try out some wide flanged Chinas. They're typically less abrasive and more musical, not as loud either. The Paragon china is a great example, 2002 Novo China, and the HHX Zen China too.
Did I not ever message you about my block letter Z Mega Bell? I could have sworn I told you I was selling it.
Lol.
I think he was saying that polished finish will show fingerprints very quickly.
Looks amazing! Would love to see it in some natural lighting. How does it sound?
Cool concept, looks like a sure-fire way to smash your bearing edges, though.
Being someone who has been, and is still, interested in Duluth, I'd be very interested in seeing that and the assembly process.
Thanks! Gonna grab a pair of 14" or 15" A New Beats, 19" Ultra Hammered China, and I found a Paiste Alpha Metal Ride in my friend's basement, which actually sounds really good, that he let me have....
Excited to see that beast. What are the specs again?
Purchased a 20" A Custom Crash and a 21" Brilliant A Sweet Ride yesterday. Finally rebuilding my cymbal setup since my band broke up in February.
I don't get this thread. Sounds like just another Guitar Center story, nothing we haven't heard before. I only go to GC in a pinch, I have 2 local drum shops in Nashville, which I give my business...
I forgot all about that relationship. I might need to look into some of the Masterworks stuff. Honestly as much as I love Zildjian, they lack that complexity that the Turkish-made stuff has.
Currently using a broken 22" Soultone Explosion Crash a friend gave me and I can tell how good it sounded before getting broken. He's got an issue with their lack of warranty which is why he's not...
I don't know how different it is to ship from the U.K. to the states, but I know my parents usually send packages to our family in Austria and they've sent a 50lb box for under $100 before, so if it...
