Times moves slower here in certain parts of Europe and we are using a set of tritoms. What would be the "right" positioning of the drums?
2-1-3 or 3-1-2?

Yes it is very helpful indeed! I also noticed that the timp toms are tuned rather high in pitch. The ones I have at work are more like a seventies concert tom drumkit :P Think I'll tune them up a bit.
