The finishes are not the same.
#1 Pearl ELX export in Ruby Fade
#2 Reference in Scarlet Fade
^ Your export looks like a 2001 ELX Export Select series in color #273 Blue Mist. Shells were 6-ply Asian Mahogany with matching wood snare 800 series hardware.
I have a picture of it in Masters Maple Premium series.
Yes.
We have to quote 4-6 months lead time just to be safe. It takes 30 days on the water but many special orders are received within 3-4 months which is quite normal (excluding Masterworks).
14 business days at place of PO if ordered via Music City Custom for RFP and MRV (wrapped only) assembled in Nashville, TN.
or 4-6 months as a special order for any lacquered finish.
Yes! :D
I love the inverted china in the ride spot!
Do you still have that 900 piece blue export kit?
Stefan - after the Marketeers have finished their photo-shoots, I will start a new thread dedicated to this MW kit.
Thanks. I have a ton of better pics. Once the marketeers are done with their photo-shoot, I'll start a new thread with all the particulars.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Hopefully the Marketeers will finish the photo-shoot soon. They are busy with all the 2020 NAMM stuff.

Sold that house when we moved to Nashville. I remember the family that bought it loved the kitchen redo.
Once the Marketeers finish their Masterworks Photo-shoot pics, I'll take some and post in a new MW thread.
I really killed the OCDP thread huh? :D
Yes and it should be arriving into Nashville late this week! I can't wait.
I believe this could be a Pearl OEM kit made for one of our distributors years and years ago. Masterworks was the name of the OEM brand and we used to make such OEM kits using our shells and parts....
Ok here we go.........
When my brother and I were around 7 or 8, we used to go over to my grandparents apartment every Friday. My mother was divorced and my dad had left so we'd visit my...
That was a 1997 limited edition Masters Series MMX 1 of 100 kits. The original finish was 160 silver sparkle.
The kitchen was even a better story than the snare! Maybe I'll post it.
Back in 2001, I jumped on the OCDP 20-ply vented snare craze. I was living and working in California at that time and drove down to pick up my snare. Back in 2001, OCDP worked out of a tiny...
