    I tried both of those and the DW 9000 series. While I personally chose DW, it was really close between the Speed Cobra's and the DW's. For me the Pearl's didn't feel nearly as solid as the other two....

    I use a PDP rack with an extra side extension on the right. Vintage Rogers Big R maple drums with original Memri-Lock tom arms and PDP clamps. It works out perfectly....

    The 10" tom is an XP8 double-headed tom - not a 6...

    The 10" tom is an XP8 double-headed tom - not a 6 ply concert tom. When I re-wrapped it I also spatter-painted the inside of the shell to look more like the others. The 15" was done the same way.
