Hey Paul, I think that you're gonna love your Paiste 15" Sig SEs when they arrive!

I'm currently using a pair as my main hats, and have been ever since I bought them new back in 2006.
I pretty much agree with the description of the sound of the 15" Sig SEs that TheClosing gave you in the Paiste thread.
When I was in the market for new hats, I was going back and forth between the 15" Sig SEs and the 15" 2oo2 SEs, and it was a tough decision because I loved certain things about them both.
In the end, the Sigs and their sound won out, and to this day I'm really glad that I went with them.
Having said that, I would definitely buy a pair of the 14" 2oo2 SEs in a heartbeat, to have as alternate or an auxiliary set of hats.

Hey Paul, I just noticed that you have your ax38 clamp in what I'm going to call the reversed position. After setting up my drums and getting everything right where I wanted it, I started looking at the ax38 and thought that it would make more sense to reverse it as it would more evenly distribute the weight of the toms and bring the weight closer to the center of the stand. Pearl doesn't have a standard for how to set it up. I just looked at Al's new kit and he sets them up as I do, but I think the next time I change heads or have my drums apart, I will change to your style. I'm not having any problems and the movement of my toms is minimal, but, but your style definitely distributes the weight more efficiently.

Hey, I'm interested in the difference in sound of the MCX between die-cast and superhoops, can you give more info about it?
