Marc, no I did not that I remember. Did you PM me? If so, I don't remember getting one--I'm usually very good at returning messages. PM me and let me know what's up.

I can only wish I played with such esteemed players. Not even sure if I was kickin' yet when that recording was made. Believe it or not recording devices had already been invented by the time I was born.

thanks a lot Marc, glad you liked it! Unfortunately that project is now defunct as the bass player and singer were married. You'll notice I said "were". We're moving on with a new vocalist who is even better and we've added a second guitar player/back up vocalist. We're in the process of writing new material and it should be interesting to see where he head from here. I tried to check out your band but because I'm in Canada, it was blocked... If you can send it some other way I'd love to check it out.

have a terrific Christmas and happy New Years, bud!

    Jeff.

No thanks needed, but much appreciated! I respect and admire your dedication to the tunes; I'm too idiosyncratic, experimental, and fidgity to play most Top 40 note for note. I figure why do Zep\Prince\Coltrane like Z\P\C? First off - you can't touch the original, and secondly - I like it when songs evolve as a living art form. I like to 'evoke' the tune, not xerox it. I do cop some exact parts. "Message in a Bottle" is too cool to not play 'right' - oddly enough Stewart never duplicated it!

If I'm playing someone's tune, I'll try to realize their vision. I play my own music differently, until I find the part. When I do, I'll etch it in stone. Much like the masters I'm not copying ha ha! I just like how all musicians have a voice, and that comes through in their interpretation of covers.
