Yeah, I sorta regret not picking one up back then. I hesitated (and lost) due to the high MSRP.

Is it possible to dial in a Pearl drumset snare to sound like a marching drum? If so which model would you recommend as well as head and snare wire combo.

If not I'll get an FFX although the depth of the drum is an issue for drum kit application.

IDEA: A Pearl Drum Kit Parade Snare. You probably could just modify some current model with the appropriate heads and strainer/wires.

The model number is FFX-213AP and there were only 30 blue and 30 clear made in 13x6.5 size. Please keep in made this was around 2002 so they may be tough to find now.
