    i have so much girbraltar rack stuff it is not even funny. like literally 300 lbs of it. what is the spec on the yamaha system? and how much do you want for it? i actually have a killer yamaha kit that i run a rack with. i am slowly but surly amassing all yamaha stuff for it. i also notice you run a sonar kit......... i am just adopt to put a sonor 4000 boom stand up on the list.

    did you make that trip to kamloops. there are a couple threads on this forum about refurbishing that speed king, i actually have three as of now. sound edges are the bomb man enjoy!!!!!!!!! Also if you are are ever looking for anything let me know...... i have tons of gear, snares, stands, pedals cymbals, odds and ends, rack parts, kits. i don't resell or flip stuff usually but i am not adverse to helping out if someone is looking for parts. I also travel a lot so i come upon all kinds of stuff.......like most likely those 2002 hats i gave you heads up on> Cheers

  5. yeah im at bcit right now. i live in ridge and there are alot of good sized shops and theyve been in bussiness for many years. i took carpentry for a while and being a glorified labourer sucked. we'll see how things workout though hopefully goes well

    hey bud. Where are you taking your classes? BCIT? I live out near Abbotsford and have been in cabinetry/custom millwork for almost 7 years now. It's cool you're getting your papers and hopefully you can land something out here because it seems all the shops are either big, mass-production shops that don't pay well, union shops (I refuse to work union) or brown guys. All the little shops are being turned over because the brownies can do it cheaper and faster, but a whole lot crappier. I have personally been laid off from over a dozen small shops because they can't compete with pricing anymore. people are more concerned with price then quality and by they time they see the junk they're getting for less money, it's too late.

    Anyways bud, I don't want to discourage you but this isn't a great trades town. Depending on how young you are, you should think about heading to Alberta and work for a year or so. Sick $$$ to be made there.
