True, we chased after our dreams too, but playing drums was a lot less risky than football. I think college athletes deserve some compensation. They can't work a job to earn money as practice is time consuming. School athletics brings in a lot of money. Coaches get paid 3 to 4 million a year, and the kids get nothing.

The Dolphins QB, Chad Henne is out for the season with a dislocated shoulder. He needs surgery as well. I feel sorry for the college kids that literally put their life on the line each week. At least the pros get paid well. The NCAA goes after college kids who accepted a free meal.

It seems like there are so many injuries this year, both college NFL. I wonder what the total medical bill is for all injuries in one season. Last week during the Gator game, they mentioned that the Gators have a team dentist. My daughter wants that job.

Congrats to your Raiders on their victory over the Browns today!

I saw a few of the highlights of the Raiders game. I loved the fake field goal play for a touchdown! Sorry to see that Raiders OB Jason Campbell broke his collarbone.

The Bears redeemed themselves somewhat after last week's mess. They played great, but it was against a snake-bit Vikings team.
Next week, the Bears are off to foggy London where they will face the Buccaneers!

    Go Bears, Go Raiders!!!

It was hard to watch. Hopefully their regular QB will be back when they play Georgia in two weeks. Next week is a buy and they need some healing time. With Demps and Brantley back, things will be better. They no longer control their own destiny. You have to figure that Georgia and Auburn will loose to Bama and LSU. You can't win games if you turn over the ball. Also, Florida didn't force one turnover and special teams, which Urban Meyer used to coach himself, sucked. Rainey knows the importance of ball protection. Florida Georgia is always a good game. They have to play the game on neutral turf in Jacksonville because things used to get out of hand when played at either home. I'm so glad I never did anything stupid when I was in college.

yep, semi driver in 53''footers (ltl) for over 10 years, then more recently part time driver for brinks armored trucks as armed driver, sharing my time between the recording studio and that job .....truck driving=over to me.

with ayotte, it would be visiting the dealers and addressing the problems with the factory in bedford...taking orders filled with the customers.....briefly, assuring and maintaining the good relationship with the dealers who stock/sell our products

bronchitis is nearly over. it's autumn here, i like that season, but thing is that, winter is knocking at our doors. wich means retreating indoor wich is something i hate with passion lolol..

i've talked with the ayotte drum company new president in bedford yesterday. chances are that i might get a job as representative for them.

it's a try like i like to tell. i'm fed up with truck driving. a job that kill a lot of truck drivers in winter with our iced highways . i've driven trucks for 20 years, i think i'm done with that.
