I don't know what "Cracking" is besides new wood or pavement cracks. How are you doing?

That Walnut won the DOTM Feb 2013. Check it out!

    So what did you decide?

I can see that it's a 20" now. The tom is on a stand. Just as long as you know.

I didn't know that was a 20" bassdrum. It looks like a 22" but you bought heads and know. I like the Walnut and Merlott.

Would matching wood hoops be too expensive? I'd get them while you're working the kit.

Look at the Walnut Lacquer on the last page of the Masters Premium Picts!

Redwood, Natural Maple, Mahogany would look good!

I bet a Walnut Stain on first and then lots of clear coats would look better. Poplar is very light. jmho

That's what I have to play. It's the original Yamaha DTX. Now they are on DTX960 or something. I can still play it and it saves band practice (we are all virtual). They plug into a console and then into the Jam Hub; and we each plug our mic's into the Jam Hub. No earphones; no sound. With ear phones it sounds like what we are playing; like we were plugged in!

About ackesnack
Biography:
Young drummer from Sweden.

I started off at the age of 7 with a Maxwin my father gave me for Christmas. I eventually moved on to a Tama Swingstar before we moved to an apartment. Sold the Tama, and my dad, who loves to see and hear me playing drums, bought me a Yamaha DTX. After a while, I decided not to let the neighbours, who play loud, horrible dubstep music for that matter, decide what I should play or not play. So I bought myself a Pearl ELX in the beautiful Amber Mist finish, and later on traded the Yamaha DTX for a Pearl Export in a Jet Black wrap. No complainments yet. So far, so good.

Thanks for dropping by, and good luck with your drumming.

Sweden
