  1. Hi,
My Supra Bronze has a small bit of splay and my BB has even more. But, and I mean a great big but, they are without question the best sounding snares I own.
I don't care what anyone says, I believe that Ludwig makes fantastic instruments.
    Thanks for writing.

Hey there! I just came across your "Ludwig Snare Drums of Destinction" thread. What do you think of your Hammered Bronze? Have you noticed any QC issuies? There have been a few threads lately talking about Ludwig's lack of QC. I notice the T-rods on that snare aren't straight ("lug splay"). That's how my 14x6.5 Supra looks, but it still sounds great.

Anyway, I've always had the Ludwig 14x6.5 Hammered Bronze in the back of my mind (as if I need another snare, right?).
