Nice. You play in any bands around town? I'm currently playing in Bound By Entrails, we play black metal. But that's soon to end, as our main dude is moving back to the states. I'll be doing some sort of Pink Floyd influenced project with one of my bandmates, some neo-folk thing with another one, and possibly instrumental surf rock (like Man or Astroman) with a neighbor. But we'll see about all that. hahaha

Hello! I just noticed another Anchorage dweller amongst the forum members. How's it going? Name's Tyler. Seems as though I should know you, but yet I don't think I do.

Glad your 16" FT got here. My new snare took 7 months which turned out to be a good thing. Love the Maple Matching MCX Snare! I got my 18" x 16" FT brand new in the box from e bay at a best ofer price. We only haggled twice. I made an ofer; he countered; I countered and he accepted. I got a great price!
  7. How is the rack coming?
  8. Hey Matt:

I planned my rack out before I got my kit (I waited 5 months for it to arrive). I knew how many cymbals I was running. Once I started building my kit. The only thing I didn't anticipate was that the Icon square pipes were much longer than I realized. My dad and I figured out how to cut them and shorten them without damaging anything. Then I was in business. I used several of the short square pipes for stability and for adjusting distances for my ride and gong bass drum. I used all CH-1000 booms except for my center 14" K custom fast crash - on that I used a CH-2000 boom.

Let me know if you need any help.

    Matt

PS: If you have any REP for me... I would appreciate it. I'm trying to get over 1000 points
