Sorry for the late reply, but you know that I haven't been on the PDF as much as I had been in the past. I check in to see what everyone is up to, but I don't always have the time to chime in. I don't have a smart phone as of yet, so all of my PDFing has to be done sitting in front of the computer. Everything is going well here, as it hopefully is with you and yours. I saw that you bought your daughter a new Honda Civic. A wonderfully reliable car that will make her commute/traveling a breeze. Speaking of breezes, I see that you posted a pic of your local weather. After the Arctic cold snap that we just went through up here, consider me jealous! LOL! You're right Marv, we got slammed, and it isn't over yet.
Yesterday we had a high of 54° which was wonderful, but we are expecting to get another 2-4 inches of snow overnight.
As soon as we stop getting snow I'll be alright. Mother Nature is teasing/testing us this year, but hopefully the end of winter is in sight. LOL!

Your Gators won last night, but Northwestern couldn't hold on to a 3 point lead in the 4th, and lost 40-30.
My Bears play the Saints here at home at noon central. Hopefully that will have a better outcome for the home team!

Yup, it's definitely great not having to choose between watching your football team and playing golf.
As I type this, the Gators are leading the Razorbacks 10-7 in the 2nd quarter.
The big game up here is the Ohio State-Northwestern game, which just started on ABC. They've been hyping it up around here all week long.

As far as settings go for my H-2000 let's start with the cam.
I tried using the red cam, and the blue cam (which I use on my single Eliminator pedal), but wound up liking the default black cam the best.
Setting the spring tension is tricky to describe because there is no real number system to correlate it with. Like, I can't say that I have it set at a "6" or something.
I guess that I could say that I have it set at "X" amount of clicks from completely loose, but I don't remember exactly what that number is.
What I try to do is to match the spring tension of the H-2000 to that of my Eliminator. I play mostly heel down, and I like the footboards to stay with the bottom of my feet.
I keep the springs just tight enough to provide that amount of resistance.
Out of the 3 powershifter settings, I have mine set at the mid position.

You'll have to mess around with it a bit in order to find the settings that feel right, but once you find your settings, the H-2000 stand rocks!

Well Marv, what can I say? We definitely both have great taste when it comes to our gear. LOL!
I know that we truly love our classic/hard rock. Both Pearl and Paiste allow us to achieve that perfect "rock sound" we have in our heads, and have heard on our favorite records for years.

Let me tell you that the H-2000 stand will make a wonderful birthday gift for you come November.

Sorry to hear that the Gators lost their starting QB for the season to a broken leg. At least the back-up QB must have done something right, because Florida won the game.

I think that you're really gonna like your new H-2000 stand when it arrives. It truly is a rock solid piece of hardware. I'm always suprised by how much the stand weighs with the hats on it. It definitely takes a bit of effort to lift it when I'm moving it around. The other thing I noticed about the H-2000 is the amount of adjustability the stand has. It took me a bit of fussing with it to find the settings that I like best, but once you've got it dialed in it's sweet and smooth.

I just realized that both of our major sports teams are celebrating very recent championships. Your Miami Heat, and our Chicago Blackhawks.
The Hawks just had their big parade in downtown Chicago Friday morning. I didn't watch much of it "live", but I caught all the highlights on the 10 o'clock news.
I'm not a real big hockey fan, but when the Hawks are in the finals, it's hard not to get caught up in all the excitement. As you know, everybody gets excited when a local team wins a championship.

The revelers were relatively well behaved Monday night after the victory, which is always heartening to see.
However, when the Cubs finally win another World Series (100+ years since), they're going to really tear this city apart in celebration! LOL
