  2. I'm not worried about feedback. The problem has always been that the power and signal all comes from a snake that is running just under the ceiling. The power amps are at the board, which is 60+ feet from the stage, so unless they want to run a single wire to the stage to run into my setup, I'm going to have to stick with what I've got. My volume is low enough with the mix coming off of the mic that I'm not worried about feedback. Besides, what would cause feedback when the only output from my mixer is to a set of earphones?

Not sure if you are still using the SM57/monitor rig as your IEM input..
What I use is the ch2 input of one of our amps at church that feeds a headphone mixer which feeds my IEMs. This is on a QSC amp..I'm sure others are about the same. There is a dip-switch on the back that parallels ch1 and ch2 inputs..that means the line level signal from ch1 is sent to ch2 to be used as a line level output. If the amps are close to you, you could just run your line level source from that to your mixer and click.
While you won't get your own personal mix, you could use the SM57 for something else and perhaps protect your hearing in cases of feedback
