Weight of Wood/Fiberglass drums

Hey Guys,
I have a question about the new Pearl Wood/Fiberglass series. Do these drums weigh any more than a standard say, maple kit because of that one ply of fiberglass? I've had my eye on a 13/16/22 but I went with a 20" on my Crystal Beat and glad I did because even though it's a smaller footprint , it weighs a ton. I'm a working drummer so lugging heavy stuff to and from gigs is a concern. I don't necessarily want to pack a boat anchor in my car at 2:00 AM.��

I have the 24x14 13x9, 16x16 set. I love them. They are very great gigging drums. However I have not noticed their weight being any more or less than standard drums. To me they feel like they weigh as much as any regular set of drums. I may at some point order a 14x14 and 12x9 tom... not because they weigh less, but because a 13" and 16" toms are sometimes overkill for gigs and I often play at venues with small stages and a small kit footprint is needed.
