Any chance for a sound clip? All the demos I've heard have had nice floor toms and kicks but all of the rack toms I've heard sounded very dead. Do you find that to be the case?

I don't have any clips unfortunately. But my tom sounds great! I took off the optimount and put it on a stand. I find the optimounts can make tuning a bit of a pain. so I don't use them if I don't have to.

I find the old Optimounts give less sustain than a snare stand. I haven't tried the newer all-aluminum ones but the stand has its advantages for swapping left/right setups for southpaws like myself.

My 20" wood-fiberglass kick is picky as far as head selection. The coated Pearl logo reso without a port ProTone head I ordered took away too much sustain and tone so I'm back to the stock Remo UT ported for now.

It appears we just have the wood fiberglass shell packs in. Any add-on's like 8" toms or 14" floor toms would have to be special ordered.

is the cocoa satin burst a wrap?

I know the other 2 are laquers i am pretty sure. ..just not sure about the cocoa?

I want the white marine pearl finish, but I know they are only offered in Europe. How does one get the 26/13/16 setup in White Marine Pearl in the U.S.?
