Info on Pearl VBL bop kit!

Hi All,
I am pretty new here, I am mostly active in drumforum.org and sometimes come here for Pearl stuff since my love of Pearl drums started with my first kit when I was 14 which was a vintage 70’s Pearl kit.
Anyways, I wanted to know if anyone has one of these Pearl VBL bop kits in root beer finish. This finish was Offered for a short time apparently if I am not mistaken and it is not available anymore.
Do you have this kit or know someone who does in the US?

Hi Jazzhead - those VBL bop kits are long gone (since 2014).

There is a Pearl online retailer that has purchased many special order MCT Masters Maple Complete Bop kits in the same congfiguration is all different finishes.

Thanks, yeah I have seen these Masters bop kit but the finishes they offer are uninteresting. I really liked the root beer finish and wanted to know if anyone has a used set of those root beer VBL kits.

Do a search on eBay for Pearl Bop drums - I think there is one new set being sold, but it's a red wood lacquer. They were asking $599 or something like that.
