  • Help indentify this snare drum

For years I had this snare drum, I polished it. Sound pretty great but I have no real use for it. So it’s just in bag doing nothing for years. It’s 14x6,5 and is has a Chrome over brass shell? Well the magnet sticks. Can’t seem to find the right info on this snare. I want to sell it because I don’t love it as much as my other snares.

Thanks to anyone who has a good tip

Looks like a 1980's Pearl "DX Professional" snare. If a magnet sticks it is a steel shell.

        No, sorry, that isn't correct.
If it was, it would have "Professional series" on the badge, and would not have the 2 x 10 strand snare wires and S-017 parallel snare action.

The badge on the snare places it between 1980 to early 83. As stated before, if a magnet sticks, it's steel shell, which would make it say a D4514LX snare
