So I acquired this drum kit back in 1999, it was my first ever drum set and it was my main rehearsal/gigging kit for many years until I bought more drums. For the last few years it's been sitting in a shared rehearsal space, being used and abused by other drummers who co-pay rent on this room. I left it there cause I have a lot of drums and out of all my kits it's the one that had already seen the most damage due to my young stupidity and not taking proper care in ensuring the wrap doesn't get scratched up and warped and etc etc.
Anyhoo, lot of sentimental value in this drum kit and the shells also sound great so I found someone in my town that's quite experienced with doing drum re-wraps and enlisted his services to give this set a new lease on life! Totally stoked with how it came out and I'm a sucker for sparkles (I own a giant blue sparkle Yamaha as well as a modest 4 piece green sparkle 60's/70's Yamaha) so I figured I may as well get it done! To try and cheapen the labour costs, my dad and I attempted to remove as much of the wrap as possible before handing it over.
12x8
13x9
16x16
22x14
Enjoy!
