Looking for a 10" tom for my 1987 MLX (sequoia red)

Wondering if it's possible to find a 10" tom for this kit. I've been searching for a while.. Any help would be MUCH appreciated! Thanks!

you see them pop up on Ebay every once in a while...do a google search for one as you never know someone may be selling one through Craigslist or similar "for sale" ad mechanisms

I can't tell too well, but your finish looks more like #107 Coral Red. I have this color on a WLX set. Does yours show no wood grain?

It's always tough to capture the grain in pictures, but I think it is Sequoia Red. The red doesn't look quite as solid as Coral Red.

I see Sequoia Red quite often in BLX, but very seldom in MLX. You might want to browse the Guitar Center used kits from time to time, in addition to eBay. I've seen a couple there over the years. Music Go Round is also not a bad place to browse, however, I don't know whether they'll ship to Canada.

Ya you can see the wood grain, just not really in the picture..

I've been watching eBay and Kijiji for a while now and haven't seen anything. Was hoping to get lucky here. I'll check out The Guitar Center and Music go around, thanks. I have family in the US so no worries about shipping.

If I were to find one in a different color would it be worth getting it redone to match?

That dude is measuring from edge of rim to edge of rim. It's a 10x8; not a 10x9. If that matters to you...

Also, he has replaced all the claw hooks on the kick reso side with cheap after market claws. But at least it's all of them...

Wow, good eyes! I could probably get a **** good deal on them but not sure it's worth the 4-5 hour drive.. Plus I should focus on getting a kit for practice and gigs. I was thinking maybe a Pearl Vision VBL. I want to stop beating up my MLX and only use it for recording. I really need to find that 10" tom though!!

Hey, I was just looking through the Pearl catalogue from 1987, the year I was told my MLX kit is from, and I noticed all the toms have the "through shell" tom holders (hole through the tom) and mine do not.. Can anyone enlighten me? Thanks!
