Session Series drums are generally nice, although they did vary wildly throughout the years. They are part of the proud lineage of DLX/DX and WLX/WX ("World Series") drums. I love mine (mid-nineties wrapped "mahogany" version) to death: it takes a beating like a champ and sounds well beyond its price class.

Welcome, I like the user name.
Feel free to upload pics of the kit, always appreciated and sometimes demanded around these parts.

Prestige Session Select - love it! what a floor tom!!
Not particularly vintage, I know, but got hold of a Prestige Session Select recently. Hadn't really come across them before, so did a bit of reading and they seemed to be getting a lot of love in the few places they were mentioned. Got an excellent deal on a set in good condition, 12/14/20 and a smaller tom (10?) that's clearly never been used (a tradition that I will proudly continue). Gotta say - am loving this kit, the toms are really lovely! Got it as a 'stop gap' after my previous kit got stolen (aaargh!) but think I'm definitely going to keep hold of it, even if I get something else as well...
