  • My mid 80`s DX-kit.

Here is a pic of my DX-kit with 24*16 bassdrum. 8,10,12,13 toms and 16,18 floortoms. The snare is a World series 14*6 1/2 steel snare. I also have a 14 and 15 tom and a 24*14 bassdrum to this kit. It sounds great and is easy to tune

Yeah will definitely put pics up. You do have heaps of toms, me being me I would be trying to use all I could. I'd probably have 8,10,12,14 up top and 13,15 left of snare. Then also with the extra BD you could have two kits. Great to have options!

Great looking DX! But man, my DLX was originally 2x24, and lugging both of those around caused me to sell one of them

You're the 8" tom King, by the way. As always...jealous.

this is super cool- love old bass drums in 24x14! any idea what a kit like this would go for on the used market? I don't have much experience with pricing big kits.

I`ll probably use it with 2 bassdrums. But i have used the 24*14 for spareparts so i have to put it together again I have never had toms on the left side of the snare..parhaps i should try it one day..?

Well i payed $500 for the first drums of this DX kit. And it was 14",16" and 24*14 bassdrum.I found it locally. But musical equipment is more expensive in Norway than in other parts of the world. The rest comes from Evilbay and i don`t dare to think about what i have spent totally..
