i say that snare you just made amazing job as with all your other projects. not to confident about cutting down drums and dealing with the edges yet but i am reading and learning.... mostly from your posts your work is stellar man. I decided to start with a re wrap on some old superstars picked up a while ago found some really ungodly crocodile wrap dirt cheap and seams really durable i think it should look pretty slick when done though. ( depending on taste)

    got G.A.S. ?

      Thanks!

If you keep it up, you'll eventally amass collections of orphan drums and eye them for modding and flipping. At that point, I definatly suggest browsing Craigslist and considering the eventuality of getting a table saw. I got mine for $50. You'll also need a table router, easily made by purchasing a cheap router at Harbor Freight for $25 and an old Formica student desk at Goodwill. You just need a 2" drill bit to drill a circle hole at one end of the table, then screw in the router below it. Buy a 45 degree bit and you're set. Super simple.
