Awesome Preston! I've been drooling over your kit since I saw it on the VDF.

I remember someone saying something about how SJC and Truth sets were original. Huh.

They had a reason for doing such things; Truth, OCDP and SJC do not have a real reason to except for the "fashion".

Hope to show this kit at the next NAMM show, if I can find a booth that will let me set them up. The kits I've seen on this forum are great!
Awesome kit man. Those look absolutely fantastic.
I'm from Branson, just about a half hour south of Springfield.

Are you from around this area as well ?

Very cool! Is the throne part of the original kit as well? Hard to tell exactly it is in the picture since only part is visible.

Showing the Bombers from the drummers position

One of the posts asked if the throne came with the set. Yes, and it was made as well as the drums. Here's a shot from the players position and a shot of the interior of the throne. It's mahogany with maple reinforcing hoops. It stands 24" and is wrapped just like the shells. The vinyl seat cover is in great condition and it's like the old lunch counter seats from that era.
