DAY-UM !!!!! Those are some stunning sets , very very classy! I'm always on the look out for vintage drums in pawn shops etc. haven't found anything like those bad boys though !
Here's a set of 1941 Rolling Bombers I picked up in Springfield,MO '08. they sound fantastic. I've removed the original calf skin heads and put them in storage and replaced them with EarthTone goat skin heads for now. Hope to show this kit at the next NAMM show, if I can find a booth that will let me set them up. The kits I've seen on this forum are great!
Awesome kit man. Those look absolutely fantastic.
I'm from Branson, just about a half hour south of Springfield.

"There’s a strong correlation between this band’s name and the type of people who listen to their MC Escher butt rock. Hopefully it will be 10,000 more days before they release another album."
One of the posts asked if the throne came with the set. Yes, and it was made as well as the drums. Here's a shot from the players position and a shot of the interior of the throne. It's mahogany with maple reinforcing hoops. It stands 24" and is wrapped just like the shells. The vinyl seat cover is in great condition and it's like the old lunch counter seats from that era.
Practice makes perfect. But ultimately, I am living proof that you don't need to play well to enjoy gear. You might be surprised how much enjoyment you can get while still sucking.
