Please help ID/date this drum

Here's a "vintage" Pearl Session bass drum. Can anyone tell me when it was made, the shell composition, and where it fits in within the Pearl line up? I thought this was a recent drum, but when I tried looking up the Session series, all I come up with are three letter codes like SMX, SBX, or "Session Custom". When did they make the just plain ol' "Session Series"?

Also, I'd like to find a matching tom and floor tom. If I cannot find the same model, what current Pearl model would be the closest match? This drum is piano black lacquer, not a wrap.

to me it looks like a current series sessions...or a last year model sessions
but im no expert on vintage drums its jsut what i think it looks like.

It looks to me as if it's a DLX "Prestige Session" bass drum from the mid-late 1990s. I have a Session catalog from that era and the badges and hardware look like yours. Piano Black was a color option.
Shell composition: 7-ply, 7.5mm shells with 1 inner ply of maple, 5 middle plies of mahogany (Philippine), and 1 outer ply of maple.
Toms had triple-flanged hoops. Rack toms had thru-the-shell mounts and floor toms had legs without the "air suspension" rubber tips.

Thanks. I tried looking up the Prestige Session drums, and they all have "Prestige" on the badge. None say just "Session Series". As for DLX, weren't those even older, from the long lug days?

It's difficult to tell from the pictures in my catalog, but I think the Prestige Sessions have "Session Series" on the badges.
My catalog lists three different Session Series models:
1) Prestige Session Select (SRX)
2) Prestige Session (DLX)
3) Session (DX)
DLXs were originally produced during the '80s (I think). They were "re-introduced" in the mid-late '90s.
The shell composition of the SRXs and DLXs were identical. The main differences were that SRX rack toms had I.S.S. Mounts and floor toms had legs with "Air Suspension" rubber tips while DLX rack toms had thru-the-shell mounts and floor toms had legs with solid tips. SRX bass drums had Masters-style spurs while DLX bass drums had Export-style spurs.
DXs were 8-ply, 7.5mm and had a "Dura-ply" wrap as its outer ply. Same hardware as DLXs.
I'm not 100% sure, but after straining to read the engraving on the DLX badges in my brochure, I think it reads "Session Series".

SX session series from 1994-97
