  • rogers accu-sonic timpani restoration

I recently purchase a set of rogers accu-sonics in great condition and trying to get them set up and adjusted. I have most of it figured out, but there are two drum lugs on each side of each pedal that I have no idea what this adjustment does. If anyone knows , please post. Thank you!

I have a parts catalog that has an exploded view with original parts numbers and a schematic. I will get it hunted down today and post a scan. While not an owners manual, its probably the best you can get.

The two drum key - screws on the sides of the pedal base press against steel arms that "should" have brake pads on them. These are used to adjust the feel (resistance) of the pedal, similar to the pedal brake on Ludwig timpani or the PAC on Yamaha timpani. Usually the pad on the steel arms are missing, it is possible but triocky to repair them. Also usually missing are the rubber spacers under the hoop where the short drum-key tension rods attach. Good luck with these drums. There are also some postings on the Facebook Timpani shop talk forum.

I have this catalog and a PDF file, how does it get posted?
