  • Lookin for a side snare..

Hello. I want to buy a side snare with a nice snappy sound. A good sound for ska, funk, and that kinda stuff. Have any recommendations?? Thanks

Thanks, but I looked at musicians friend, mass music, and colarado drum and none of them have it. What site could I check it out?

I'm guessing GC has them, or maybe indoorstorm.com

Also try the PDP 805 10x6
Put this in your sig if you love AAXplosion crashes!!!!!!

I say PDP... its your best value for the money...

If you do decide on the PDP tho... change the heads IMMEDIATELY. They suck, and they really limit the sounds of the drum. When I first got mine with the stock heads, I wasnt impressed at all, and thought I had wasted my money. So I kept it on the side of my kit, never really used it. Then about 2 months later... changed heads to Coated Ambassador over Ambassador snare side... and WOW, that thing sounded incredible. Great crack and some pop to it. Excellent drum, just change the heads immediately if you get one...
