o wow. i would rather get a full kit with a supraphonic. but those things are really hot. ive seen that snare in canada at steves music store. they have it for 2250 CDN, so its considerably cheaper than yours, but its still enough for a brx.

They made a Limited Edition snare with the company Noble and Cooley, they don't really make a full line of drums.

Maybe it's because of what it costs to import things into New Zealand, but just about every item on that page seems overpriced. $150 for a Sonor Jungle snare? $550 for a Brass FF? No thanks.

Does he prefer blast beats or shuffles?

I wouldn't be so quick in saying that. Noble And Cooley, a company well respected for several decades makes the actual drum. Zildjian just produces the alloy used for the shell.

Looking over recent ebay history the last five sold for $ 1105, 1055, 990, 1200, and 905 USD.... Beautiful snares, a softer sound than you might expect based on the materials/design but ultra-sensitive and highly dynamic....
                      Goodbye....

They are incredible snares, I plan to own one someday...

That is WAY overpriced for those in the link, IMO... I dont remember them ever selling for that much, even when they were still made new.

I played on at Forks Drum Closet in Nashville, and it sounded excellent. Price was about $650 used, I believe. I easily could have walked out of the store with it, if I'd had the cash in hand. Also, I was only there because I was on a vacation with my family to Nashville (I live in Missouri), so its not exactly like I could just go back and get it later, lol...

$600, never seen one that cheap; even the older versions, you should have snagged it. The 380th anniversary model was designed by Bob Gatzin and is very sweet. He used 1-bolt nodal point lugs alternating top and bottom, so only 8 holes in the shell!
