  • Pearl Limited Edition Snare Drums on Mass Music

I'm looking into a new snare for Christmas, and I was thinking about getting this one: http://www.massmusic.net/shop/?shop=...0&cart=1961140

Can anyone tell me what sound I should expect from it, and does any disagree with the choice of this snare?

High pitched, bright crack. Should sound great, but I don't like color.

Not allowed? What is the snare?

Well it's a pretty convenient color for me personally because my kit is a Ruby Fade ELX. So I don't mind the color too much.

I dont think its possible to link to it. Just go to the drums/pearl/snare drums section, and I think he is talking about the red limited edition snare drum that they have.

They don't have pics from the factory yet, but they're trying to get the snare out before or around Christmas.

Sequoia Red is darker than that pic... and once you factor in tube lugs and the new strainer it's going to look like a million bucks... in fact, it's going to look so good it will change Russ's mind
