I've never heard of a wuhan snare but i'm sure it sounds just as bad as their cymbals (minus chinas)

Figures the website is down. It's in the jan 06 MD. Good looking cheap drums too. www.wuhancymbals.com The retailer's name is Universal Percussion sales@universalpercussion.com I cant email from work. The carbon steel alloy is $349 msrp, the brass one is $199. The carbon steel appears to have diecast hoops on it.

it says it has copper IN the brass alloy shell.thats pretty weird..copper is a darker, warmer toned metal than brass.2.33MM hops and 45 degree edges.probably somewhat similiar to the smitty smith snare...

Funny thing is there isn't anything about them on their website. I thought they looked pretty good in MD> The cheapest looking part on the brass snare is the strainer IMO. The carbon steel snare has a better strainer and hoops. Like you guys, I'd like to hear one as well. I'd also like to know what percentage is copper, that would really explain the price I'm sure.
