i love the looks...but unfortunately nobody has one in stores around here. so. what would oak be best for? jazz, rock, metal? versatile? looks?(ive seen pics but just wanted to know your thoughts) road capabilities?(how tough is it) and i wanted to know why its sooo cheap...just a lower line or what?

its good stuff, very versitle(sp?) its very tough wood( strongest wood out there for drums) great strong sound.

Definitly not a lower line snare. The Musashi snare's have alot of crack to them cranked high. Also, very loud and cutting. Too bad this is the only info I can give you, I don't have alot of experience with them. Check out the links Ihaveaglassjaw posted.

It is made rather simply which could be one reason it is so cheap. It is good for chuch use I would use it for punk and rock mostly.
