It will sound better with red ribbons holding the snare wires. Nice snare by the way.

Thank you I know Lonny would have agreed about Red Snare ribbons sounding better.

So the real question is when are you getting a Reference Redline to put those red snare ribbons on. We're all waiting...

Nice snare. Congratulations. Pearl has a winner with the heritage edition. I never liked tube lugs. The big fat ones always looked better in my humble opinion.

I have an older aluminum Sensitone 5" x 14". I love the sound... Kinda dry, crisp and not as ringy as steel or brass.

I mean, it IS brand new, isn’t it?

The “Heritage Alloy” just came out this year.

From 2014 until 2020, they had tube lugs, stainless steel tension rods, and the SR-150 strainer. I feel like these are sort of like a “kick back” to the old SensiTone Elites.

In all reality, the Red Line kits (and pedals) were the inspiration for the red accents on my snares. I also have several of the red leather Snareweight M1’s and M80’s.

She's definitely a beauty! Also what are the specs on that polka dot crab down there?

Ouuu, very nice indeed. I always lusted over the Redline kits and had the Redline pedals/hi-hat stand been a thing when I bought my H2000 and P2000 pedals I would've definitely gone that route as well.

Thanks Andy. I have good luck dealing with this store. I called the first day this snare appeared on their website and asked a friend that works there to put it aside for me , I thanked him and 2 hrs later it went home with me.
