Mangini signature snare...

Hey crew, I just recently got around to fixing up my Mike Mangini sig. snare and was wondering if he hand-signed all of them?

Where was it signed? I have three and other than the standard Pearl signature badge, I did not see any signatures on them.

Hey crew, I just recently got around to fixing up my Mike Mangini sig. snare and was wondering if he hand-signed all of them?

I would like to see the signature. Is it on a sticker inside the shell? Both of my Mike Portnoy signature snares have shell stickers with his hand signature on them. My Omar Hakim signature snare does not. I think Tama has their artists sign the stickers for later application.

So, this morning I get up with the child (she’s six months old now!) and open my bedroom door and stop dead in my tracks...



I looked over and was like, “wtf is going on here?! I didn’t have a flashlight or anything on the drum last night...”

The sun peaks over the neighbor’s house for about half an hour every morning and just happened to be lighting up the shell only.

Here’s a picture of how the light was hitting the shell and how it looked only a few minutes later.

Interesting. I’ve seen his signature a few times. Enough to know that it seems legit.

Anyway, I just finished her up this afternoon!







I’ll be listing this one up on Reverb along with that Joey Jordison Sig. I finished a few weeks ago. I probably wont ask for much more because of the autograph since I can’t prove its legitimacy. What do you think would be a good asking price?

I'm not aware of his signature snare having a signature inside the shell. Not saying he couldn't have signed this particular one. But if it came from the factory, it wasn't signed.
