  • Pearl Steel Shell Snare — age?

I have a Pearl Steel Shell snare, 14 X 6 with 10 lugs, and am trying to figure out how old it may be. In addition to the Pearl Steel Shell rectangular badge, it has a label “SERIAL NO 20005658” right under the vent hole. Any ideas? Thank you!

Need pics for sure. Sounds like it could be a student model with the rectangular badge... is it a piece of metal or more like a silver "sticker"?

Serial numbers are basically useless around here.

Pics of lugs, badge, and strainer are what helps to identify a snare.

Yep, student model. I've seen these in various sets with practice pads and sometimes a xylophone. Usually comes in a backpack.
