Need Help Identifying My Snare Drum

Hello. New to the forum. I hope I am in the right spot. After cleaning out some stuff in my man cave I found the snare drum shown. Don't remember where or when I got it. I do not know when it was made or what it is worth. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advanve.

I think it's a 1980's era higher-end drum. Maybe a Pearl DLX model? I'm guessing it's worth $150 to $200. Lots of drummers love vintage stuff, so it may even go for more.

it's a 83-84 M series 8 ply Keller Maple shell that was assembled in USA at Nashville Pearl ... going from badge and what looks like S011 strainer

Between 1981 and 1983 was a major period of growth for Pearl. The worldwide demand for Pearl high-end Maple drums outpaced the capacity of Pearl’s Japanese factory. Thus to meet demand, production had to be increased. However, rather than expanding the original Japanese factory, the larger and more modern Taiwanese factory was expanded instead. Expansion took over two years and during this time the Japanese factory continued making maple ET/G/M drums to satisfy the Japanese domestic market. To meet the demand in the US, the Pearl facility in Nashville was called into service to produce maple ET/G/M drums featuring 8 ply maple shells from Keller.

correct on first part but not 2nd. DLX had DLX on badge .. DLX were made of Birch and Mahogany.

I own early 80's Pearl kits and snares .. and having catalogs saved helps also ... Plus I've owned most every series from 80's - 2000's at some point from buying on the used market through out the years

If you can post pic of strainer i can ID snare better .. what actual year made ... like i said from what I can see it looks like S011 .. and I already know it's a 14 x 8 size just from 20 lugs .. 14x6.5 had 10 single lugs centered just like 14x5 .. since it's 14 x 8 it;s worth roughly 200-300 depending on buyer ... I sold one years ago for $350 but it was the made in japan badge version and in almost mint condition .. yours has serious cracking in finish
