    Coated G1 or UV1 batter over Clear 300 will give an open/ringy-ish sound, then maybe a Power Center Reverse Dot for a more controlled and focused sound. I had a Genera Dry on mine when I got it, and it was WAYYYY too dry for anything I was playing. Zero overtones and zero sustain lol. And a 2-ply Dry head would probably dampen even more, I would imagine.

    Hi,

    I have both sizes of this snare and link using a Remo Ambassador Hazy snare side along with a Remo Powerstroke 3 Coated batter head w/dot.
