CS dot for top is my go-to, but I have the 5" version.

Evans Clear 300 Snare Side, Evans UV1 Batter. If you want a little less ring, and more focus, try a Power Center Reverse Dot Batter.

I would trade my N&C Custom Alloy straight up for a new one of these!

              Beauty. Congrats!

Coated G1 or UV1 batter over Clear 300 will give an open/ringy-ish sound, then maybe a Power Center Reverse Dot for a more controlled and focused sound. I had a Genera Dry on mine when I got it, and it was WAYYYY too dry for anything I was playing. Zero overtones and zero sustain lol. And a 2-ply Dry head would probably dampen even more, I would imagine.
