14x5 Free Floater copper shell sale price

I recently switched out my copper shell (FC50) for a deeper brass shell. I am getting ready to post the copper shell online to sell but I have no idea what to even ask for it because I can't find it for sale anywhere online as a reference. Any ideas?

About 4 months ago I bought a brand new Maple Shell FF 14 x 6.5 from Blake’s for $200 . Unless the interested buyer has a FF in that size it might take some time to sell . I know Pearl no longer offers Copper but they sound great. I have a Phosphor Bronze and it is Awesome! Maybe try $225.00 Buy it now?

I am almost certain it will take a while to sell because there doesn't seem to be a demand for it (probably why it was discontinued). I was thinking about that price range as well. Thanks!

Based upon my experience, the copper shell would probably sell because it is discontinued and in good condition. It just depends upon how soon you want to sell it.

I would list it at $199 (with free shipping) and then allow for "make offer" (on eBay or Reverb) to see who is interested. You might get a "buy it now" right away from someone who has been looking for the discontinued shell, or you might get lower offers from someone who is "on the fence."
