Here is an eBay seller who supposedly still has the S-025 snare wires.

It seems easy to find The S-025! I bought mine a month ago.. Cost approx 20 dollar. Its Pearl logo on, and 20 strands. Puresound also has a replacement, but is almost 4x more expencive, and have 16 strands. Dont think i ever read that Puresound would be better or werse in this particular case...

I've had a look and my local drum shop in the u.k has them which is great so I'll get them Thursday , thank you for all your help
