The Reference Pure series was released in 2011 along with the Black Cherry finish. I got this drum used in 2012, but I believe it had to have been among the first of it's kind due to the Fat Tone hoop stickers. By around the middle of 2011, Fat Tone hoops had the current engraving.

The specs in addition to the Fat Tone hoops are STL55L Tube Lugs, SR1000 Glide Lock throw off. The shell has 2 inner plies of birch and 4 outer plies of maple for a total of 5.4mm.
Great snare. Interesting to note the Fat Tone stickers on the hoops.

This was the December 2016 Snare Club drum. It has a steel shell with black powder coat finish and TLS55 lugs. It has an SR900 Duo-Motion throw-off that came on the metal Vision series snare drums. The throw-off can be changed to be either a vertical or horizontal pull. I have no idea why Pearl went to the trouble of designing that throw-off and basically only used it on the Vision series.

This drum was released in 2018 and is categorized as a Collaboration Snare Drum with Casey Cooper. It has CL55 lugs and an SR700 strainer. The shell is an interesting mix of 2 inner plies of maple (1.8mm) in the evenply configuration and 4 plies of poplar (5mm) in standard thickness, which means a total of 6 plies at 6.8mm. I don't know of any other Pearl drums that combine plies of evenply thickness along with standard thickness plies. The finish is a custom flame and pinstripe graphic covering along with red gaskets under the lugs and badge.

At the price point for this drum, I wonder how "collaborative" it really was.

I'm not really sure how much input any artist has in the drums with their names on them. That would be an interesting process to understand a little more about. I did think it was odd that Pearl has this listed as a "collaboration" drum rather than a "signature" like all of their other artists offerings going back to forever. I imagine it's just a money thing, but who knows....

                Those are nice.

I also have one except that I've upgraded all of the hardware to the SR- series and Fat Tone hoops. I was never a fan of the chopper hoops.

                  It's probably the marketing.

Pearl might be getting away from the "signature" type of drum these days (as they only have 4 kinds left on the website). It may have also been an issue with the Igniter snare since it's not really associated with a typical touring or recording artist.

The other issue is the price. The Igniter appeals to the mid-low range market of younger, non-professional players who relate to the YouTube channel and probably wouldn't buy a signature drum with better components.

That one was unique. Much better than something like the Igniter.

Basically just the standard Chad Smith snare in green, but a neat looking finish for sure.

This was a Snare Club drum from May 2016. This is basically the precursor to the Modern Utility series that came out in 2017. The only difference is the NDL100 (Decade Maple) lugs and the Limited Edition badge. The shell is 6-Ply (5.4mm) Maple, which is the same as the Decade Maple series that also was released in 2016. The finish is #227 Satin Black. This the same drum as the LMPR1480S/C726 (White Honeycomb) with a different finish.
