This drum was added to the Modern Utility Series in 2019. It has a 6-ply (5.4mm) maple shell with RH1408 hoops, CL100 lugs, FTL07RC brackets, and LG40 legs with R40 suspension feet. While all other Modern Utility drums come with SR700 throw off, this drum comes with the SR017 throw off although it comes with the butt that matches the SR700.

I've tapped around on it a little, but I haven't played it on a set yet. My first impression is that it's a little unwieldy but fun. It comes with an O-Ring, which was probably a good decision. I haven't spent enough time tuning to dial it in exactly where I want it. Pearl Europe has a video showing it off a bit.

This drum was added to Pearl's signature snare drum lineup in 1996, although the gold hardware version was discontinued after 1999. The shell is 6-ply (7.5mm) Mahogany. The hardware includes Superhoops, CL55 lugs, and SR015 throw off.

In 1996 this drum changed to CL100 lugs. The stock option has always been Liquid Amber finish. This drum was special ordered, along with many other Pearl Effects snares I have, in Vintage Sunburst Finish. The only change of significance was in 2002 when the throw off went from SR012 to SR018. This drum has the current SR018 throw off along with RIM1208 hoops and CL100 lugs. The shell is 8-ply (10mm) Maple.

This was released in 2014 with the 4th generation of Free-Floating snare drums. It has a 6-ply (5.4mm) all birch shell. This is the only free-floating snare drum to use EvenPly (.9mm) plies, rather than the Pearl's standard 1.25mm plies. Along with the free-floating chasis, this drum has FT35 lugs, MasterCast hoops, and SR160F Click-Lock throw off.

This drum was available in 2010. It is a 6-ply (7.5mm) Maple MCX shell with Mappa Burl veneer. This drum preceded the Artisan II lacquer finishes in the MCX series that did not have exotic veneers but were painted to look like they did. The hardware includes Mastercast Hoops, CL65 lugs, and SR017 throw off.

Sorry my posts have slowed down significantly. I've been really busy and will be for the next couple months. In addition to that, a lot of the remaining drums are ones that will take additional research to get all the information I want to include. I'll eventually get them all done, but postings will be sporadic.

This drum is a mixed 2-Ply Maple, 4-Ply Poplar (7.5mm total) shell. It has CL-55 lugs, SR-017 throw off, and RIM1408 hoops.

The BRX Masters Studio drums were 6-ply (7.5mm) birch shells. This drum has Mastercast hoops, CL55 lugs, and SR017 throw off.
