  • George Way Solid Snare... with Craviotto shell!

I just purchased a George Way 6.5x14 solid maple snare with a Craviotto shell! I went into a pawn shop a while back and saw it in there, but it was priced way too high so I waited until the price got as low as it would go and I finally got it. I was surprised when I looked inside the shell and saw that it was a solid shell, but even more surprised when I saw a Craviotto sign branded on the inside of the snare. I contacted Ronn Dunnett and he confirmed that Craviotto made a few snares for George Way in a limited back in 2012 (the snare has the date May 3, 2012 inside the snare). It looks great (Practically brand new and in pristine condition), sounds amazing, and is sort of a rare drum. I found absolutely no information on this drum online... by the way I got it for $340!!

Sorry I don't have better pics.

I think of it as a Craviotto with GW hardware..... If you put Ford wheels on a Mercedes you would not call it a Ford.
FS: 6.5x14 Craviotto mahogany, 8 lugs, 30deg edges, minty. $500+ship.

Yeah, it's definitely a Craviotto with George Way hardware.I am thinking of possibly putting tube lugs on it too.
