That's an awesome collection, Dale! If a drummer walked into my studio with only half of those, I'd be stoked!

Nice collection. I never knew you were a fan of the deep snares.

Thanks. I've never brought more than two to a session and almost always use the first one, GMS Vintage or the BB.

Thanks. I've played every size from 4" deep to 8". I've come to realize I'm a 6.5 kind of guy, but I like an 8 for a change here and there.

Oh and lovely drums. Get yourself a 1920's Ludwig brass next.
Check out my incomplete snare drum collection thread. I like it and think it is quite charming. :)

When the time is right, contact me.

There are two Australian brands I recommend. Evetts and Sleishman. Not only do I own the drums, I personally know and trust the owners.
I know his daughter and I am friends with her husband. Chris bought the company back a few years ago. The drums they are making are great.

I'd like to take a crack at that Premier.

It doesn't sound very good. It survived a fire where one of my kits burned to the ground. The shell was totally waterlogged. The white rap is now off color. The vent is rusted. The rims have these little bumps as if it has been chipped or something.

The only reason I keep it is sentimental value being it was a life's savings I used to get that kit and the story behind it.

Great collection Dale! You have some nice drums. I can see why the '04 GMS Grand Master Vintage maple 6.5X14 is your go to, that is a beauty. I am also a 6.5 snare kind of guy, i like 5 and 8 deep snares at times, but I like the 6.5 fo rmy workhorse. I ma sure that one sounds like a dream. Whats the shell make-up of that one?
