I have a 14x6 Cast Bronze w/ Black Hardware, bought it new in 2005 S#263513, should be 3mm correct?

It's been a great drum and proved to be quite versatile!

Awesome snare! I'm sure by now you've figured out that its silly to try and muffle a snare like that that's designed to be played wide open.

Nice score, I never cared for gold hardware on drums. I would be tempted to change it or have it powder-coated black.

    Hey Rick_667,
Did you happen to just sell your 7 x 14 DW Bronze?
I might be the guy that bought it... Issaquah, WA USA?

This is all the information I got from Dw
"I am not sure when your drum was made I do know the drum was offered sometime between 1998-2003. The snare drum you have is 5mm thick."

So, yeah, it is 5mm and it is old

Dw contacted me back, asking for a Photo, because the badge Serial# didn't really help them..
