Congrats my friend. We have spoken about this new addition of yours and I am sure you will find the right head combo that works best for you. The drum looks fantastic. Take it for a test drive and keep us posted. With all my new additions of snares as of late, this one is just sitting in it's case, but it's great to know that it's waiting for me should I choose to throw it on the stand.

Nice drum, I had one and I needed to make the snare beds a little deeper... once I did it sounded great.

The drum sounds great right out of the box. I am not sure I would mess with a shell of this caliber, but to each his own.

Thanks guys, I tried a Reverse Dot.. and threw the Fyber straight back on, the Reverse killed all its warmth in my opinion, definatly gona try a Coated Ambassador and I just threw a Hazy 300 on the opposite side as the reso was looking a lil worn...

With the fyber I'd say this drum is quite warm, nice sensitive crack to it, not overly crushing but but slightly piercing enough to give it a great presence, the fybr gives it a nice vintage ring but I want to try a Ambassador as the vintage ring isn't quite for me
