  • Old Free Floater 14x3.5 brass

Any comments on this snare? Is it good even for its age? What's the history on this? Year make? Some one's selling me an identical one, all comments will be much appreciated.

    Thanks!

I have one and it's great. Very versatile snare. I've gigged with mine many times.

Well, I'm not sure what year, but its probably around the last 7 years?

My girlfriend is buying me this snare for my 18th birthday, with the new hardware and such.

                Can't wait!

Just over 2 weeks til I get the thing!

                        Its not that old.
I have the exact same snare. I bout it maybe 6 years ago.
It has the best crack I have ever heard on a snare. So if you are looking for a snare that has alot of crack to it, this is the one

Did you buy it new? The badge of my Freefloater that came with my 80's MLX was identical. The newer badges have had a more MMX-stylish badges with deeper ingravings as far as i know.

Nonetheless, it's the same snare, and it is indeed amazing!
