Hello, is the snare still available to buy?

Sounds much like any other cast bronze snare really! I think the 380th edition drums are a wee bit ugly in comparison the the earlier N&C/Zildjian snares, and they certainly don't seem to be as much in demand. They're fairly easy to find new/secondhand now.

I can understand that, the Noble and Cooley is in that twilight area where it isn't new or old enough to be antique yet. You must have some great second hand deals out there (as well as the noble and cooley, it works out as £330)

Im glad you like my snare

No problem - I can see how you could think that, sorry.

I'm really surprised no one had picked that snare up in Japan, it seems to me Japan has quite large number of drummers willing to pay for high end/collectable drums.

    Oh sorry,

The poster also advertised this in the general forum when he put the snare on eBay, I explained it was too high back then and what you said (the fact that they can be found in america much cheaper but still arn't sought after) reinforces that.

It's already been posted but thanks anyway. That is a sick snare and the owner is pretty nuts to sell it. I think it'll be worth a fortune in a couple of years (if it isn't already). Awesome looking snare (never heard it).
